Vurderinger
A great flat in handy location for us.
The enjoyed our stay at the Post House Green.The ground floor flat was clean, modern and well equipped and ideally located for visits to family and friends. The electric room heaters were easy to control individually. The bed was very comfortable. The building is near to a busy road, roundabout and railway line but the flat is on the side away from the road. There is a 24 hour filling station with an M&S Simply Food store on the opposite side of the roundabout. The assigned car parking space is about 50 yards from the back door but we could park temporarily alongside the apartment for unloading. As there are 4 doors to get to the flat, we passed our belongings through the window to save time. I used to cycle past this building on my way to secondary school in the 1960s so it was interesting to see the interior of these converted offices. The building is surrounded by residents' parking spaces, paving and gravel so it is very functional, as are the public areas inside. It is a converted early 20th century office building with an interesting, period entrance hall but the corridors are a little austere. A minor niggle with the flat is that there is no light near the bathroom mirror. We also took a while to master the microwave and oven. I don't think the instructions were in the otherwise comprehensive information folder.
Thank you for your feedback Steve. The information folder should have had all the manuals for all appliances. The house rules sheet also shows how to work everything, plus we have links to all videos you can view on you tube to show you how to use everything. Sorry if you was not aware of this. Wonderful stay
The apartment was clean and equipped with the necessities. The bed was incredibly comfortable and having 2 smart TVs was amazing. The only disappointing thing was that the internet was slow at times and the sofa was slightly uncomfortable. Having said that, the property was affordable and in a convenient central location. Thank you for a lovely stay! :)
Hi Angela , thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you had a good stay. Regarding the internet, this is unfortunate and must have been some local outage or speed issues , this was unlucky. We do not have any issues reported before with this. The property has Virgin 250 MBPS, which is super fast. All the best Elena Fortuna Property.
The best air b and b I’ve stayed in
This property is exceptional. Its decor is beautiful, it was unbelievably clean and the attention for detail the hosts had put in was so impressive. They had everything you could want (dishwasher, tablets, tea coffee, even biscuits) we stay in Gloucester a lot and this is by far the best property in the area. We will be returning. I cannot recommend it enough.
